We generally use Royal Mail to deliver the Tipple Tails cakes; all prices include second class postage, however, if you would prefer to send your parcel first class we have several first class options to choose from to ensure that you receive your cake as soon as possible
If you have popped out, the postman will leave a ‘something for you’ card so that delivery can be re-arranged or alternatively you can pick your parcel up from your local post office depot. If you can’t pick up your mail, someone else can do it for you – all they need to do is take proof of your identity and address.
First Class Recorded Delivery – you will need to sign for the parcel, and which lets us know that your parcel has arrived safely.
• 1 Cake = £4.50
• 2 Cakes = £7.00
• 3 Cakes = £9.00
• 4+ Cakes = free postage & packaging (this offer applies to a single delivery to a single address)
Special Delivery – will guarantee that your parcel will arrive by 1pm on the day after it is posted. Again, you will have to sign for the parcel, which lets us know that your parcel has arrived safely.
• 1 Cake = £10.00
• 2 Cakes = £12.00
Parcelforce Express24 – will guarantee next working day delivery by close of business to the majority of UK destinations with online tracking and proof of delivery. Delivery standards may vary for remote areas.
• 1 Cake = £10.00
• 2 Cakes = £12.00
• 3/4 Cakes = £16.50
Dispatch
If we receive your order before 12pm (UK Standard Time) we will do everything we can to pop it in the post the same day. Your order will always be dispatched as promptly as possible. If for any reason we’re not able to do this we’ll get in touch with you by email to offer you a different product, a later delivery date, or, if you prefer, a refund. And just so you know, we don’t send out any items at the weekend or bank holidays and we are closed between Christmas and New Year.
Once your order is dispatched we’re not able to take responsibility for any delays. But if we hear of any problems, we’ll do our best to let you know as soon as we can. Royal Mail categorises a parcel as ‘lost’ if it still hasn’t been delivered after 15 working days. If your parcel has still not arrived after this time, we’ll happily offer you a refund or send your parcel out again, whichever you prefer.
International Delivery
Delivery outside mainland UK may be possible by special arrangement but an additional delivery charge will be payable. Deliveries to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man may also be subject to delays due to customs checks. If you require delivery outside mainland UK, please get in touch on 07939 577 467 or email us at [email protected] so that we can chat this through with you and help you place the order.
Import Duty
If you do wish to order goods from us for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Contact your local customs office for further information before placing an international delivery order. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the goods are destined. We will not accept liability for any breach by you of any such laws, and do not accept responsibility for return postage costs or items lost or damaged in transit, or any other circumstances beyond our control, except at our discretion.
