Not long now until this year’s White Rose Awards
It’s just a few days to go until the winners of the Welcome to Yorkshire White Rose Awards are announced and here at Tipple Tails HQ we are very much looking forward to attending the event, which this year is being held at the brand new Hall 1 at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate the evening of Monday 21st November.
Last year Tipple Tails received a Highly Commended Award in the Taste of Yorkshire Category. This year we are delighted to have made it through as a finalist again, this time in the Producers and Makers Awards Category. This category is aimed at small, independent Yorkshire businesses that produce or make local food and drink, or artisan crafts and art. Entries must demonstrate creativity in their use of local ingredients and materials, consistent quality in the delivery and presentation and creative marketing.
Proud Yorkshire Roots
We’re incredibly proud of our Yorkshire roots and we work hard to source all the ingredients and components for our mouth-watering cakes as close to home at Wadsley Hall Farm in Sheffield as possible. We use fine ingredients, and support local businesses to produce delicious moist fruit cakes, packed with fruit and nuts.
Nomination alongside other wonderful Yorkshire Businesses
It is a genuine honour to be nominated alongside a clutch of other wonderful Yorkshire producers such as Sloemotion, a producer of high quality hedgerow and orchard fruit liqueurs, Yorkshire Heart Vineyard and Brewery a producer of fine English Wines based in Nun Monkton and The Sawley Kitchen, a Yorkshire Biscuit Bakery specialising in hand baked biscuits, shortbreads and meringues. Plus Beaver Furniture and Dalesbred two Yorkshire furniture makers.
We’re so excited to have been shortlisted for the prestigious White Rose Awards again this year and will have our fingers crossed on Monday evening! But we also want to congratulate our fellow nominees in the Producers and Makers Category and wish them all luck!
If only we could all be winners …
